I have a lot of infusion experience. It helps to drink at least a litre of fluid before you go in. I also do arm curls for about 10 minutes before. Ask the person if they are a good sticker. Look em in the eye. If they aren't confident ask for the best. I look away when being poked and breathe deep.
Good luck with your Iron levels.

Good morning all,
I'm so glad you got some sleep Kristen. Yay for melatonin! Good luck on your appointment. My 3 month post op is coming up. It's at 11:00 so I can go without food that long, lol.
So something interesting yesterday... Actually it started Tuesday. I went to visit my barista daughter and had an iced coffee. I immediately felt like **** Now I know from you all that what sits well one day won't another, so I was thinking it was the coldness of the coffee. That evening I was still nauseous. Yesterday I woke up nauseous and went back to bed for two hours. I ate some lunch and the nausea was bad enough to take a Zofran. I slept all afternoon. I was trying to analyze what I had eaten that made me sick. I was blaming it all on the surgery. Then last night it dawned on me, duh! I'm sick! Wow. Not everything has to do with RNY. Revelation on my part. I still feel crappy today so I'm going back to bed soon.
Qotd: Ok, I confess that I crank up Lou Bega when I'm in the car alone. Mambo no. 5. My girls don't like him because they think he's sexist with his 30 girlfriends. I think he's funny. His music is kind of rap meets swing.
I can't even think about a menu right now. I have some turkey meatloaf that I might nibble at if I get hungry. And yowza, the good news in all this? I'm down 6 pounds in one week. All because I've been taking in so little.
Only two days until Kakesie and I have our meetup!
