I have not read a in a long time. I have not had really any focus to.

I just read the best book ever. It may be for young adults a lot younger than myself. I am 49. But it was such a great story about how some of us go through life with some mental disorders.

I am so glad I took my time to read it.

Thanks for sharing that, Susan!  I just finished "Stiletto" by Daniel O'Malley and now I'm reading "A Darker Shade of Magic" by VE Schwab.

You let me know if you need any recommendations.  I am full of them.

Thank you. I read it and I knew it was for 20 something year olds. But it was such a great book that I couldn't stop reading it. I love my Kindle.

My daughter and I share the account so it works out really well. Some of them are way too young for me.

thanks for the recommendation!

My teen novel series that is my guilty pleasure is by a mother & daughter writing team: P.C. Cast & Kristin Cast the series is called "House of Night" about teen vampires and the special school they go to and all their adventures.  First book is "Marked".  There is 12 books so far and I have read 8 of them, I love them. Easy fun reading.

I like teen and christian novels too. You can still have romance without sex, sex, sex, sex.

Dont get me wrong, I think sex is ok but our society uses it so liberally on everything from tv shows, commericals, novels, art, theater, movies, selling alcohol, selling cars...I just get "tired of it". It is almost as if when something doesnt have substance, "they" just throw sex on top of it and hope no one notices!!!

If you like Christian Romance books I recommend the Miss Match series. I can't remember the author, but I think it's by a women named Lauren. They are definitely aimed towards high school/college age but they are so fun to read, lighthearted and sweet. I would say they are PG but not in a fake "oh everything is sunshine and daisy" nonsense way.
