Oh no Cynthia.  I am so sorry you had to go through this.  What a nightmare.  I tell you, as someone who works with EDs, they are the last places I want to go, except when there is no other choice.  They have a culture all their own, and sometimes that culture is not great where patient emotional care is concerned.  Glad you escalated up to get resolution.  Please take care of yourself and heal fast (and no more bending over and picking up things from the floor).

Happy Wednesday.  Kristen, here's hoping you don't kill her, but if you do, I'll defend you.  I'm a big fan of the "s/he needed killing" defense.

CQOTD:  My pet peeve is the "it's not my job" person.  For example, when my dad died, I had a huge project due to be filed with the Court.  I wanted to get an extension from the other side, so I could take the week off (I actually had hand surgery scheduled the week he died, so I wanted to take care of both things) (1) the partner I was working for made me call the opposing lawyer to ask for the extension, because "he'll be sympathetic if you call" (aka "it's not my job") and (2) we had to file a stipulation with the Court and we kept getting an error message when we tried to file electronically.  The attorney who was assigned to get it filed said "filing is the secretary's job, so I don't know what's wrong." and would do nothing to get it filed.  I had to go into the office to make sure it got filed before the deadline.  The "it's not my job" people DRIVE ME CRAZY!!!

Time since surgery: 2 years and almost 3 months or 1 month and 2 days

B: Protein shake

L: Left over Filet (I'm so happy that it went down well last night!  Such a relief!!!)

D: ?????  I've had house guests for 5 WEEKS and they mentioned something about taking us out to dinner.  I have no desire to go, but I took nothing out. So, I have no idea and am open to suggestions . . .

S: Light and Fit; deli turkey slices and babybel

Totals without dinner Cal: 471; Protein: 75g; Fat: 14g; Carbs: 13g
