What's on Your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
Hi there everyone! I wasn't on yesterday... I took a sick day *cough cough*... which ended up in me watching a lot of TV, chasing our Geldings across several acres because they decided they needed to break out of the pasture they were in to go be with our Mares. I moved them the day before because they are both thin, so I brought them to the pasture closer to the house to give them grain twice a day in addition to the hay/grass they already had. Damn brats just sit in the corner looking at the mares, calling out to them all day long! I also did some laundry, and made a nice dinner for the kids (Hubs returns tonight). Sometimes I love to take a day off when no one will be there except me. It was perfect!
QOTD: I work during the day at a fracing company (don't judge!)... my biggest pet peeve around here are the type of people I work with. We don't see eye to eye on most anything that has to do with social/political issues. I feel like I need to keep most of my thoughts to myself, or else risk being in the next layoff pool (which, if it weren't for the benefits here, I might welcome). My boss will often start off a sentence with "I know we're not of the same views... but". Most of the guys around here also have that "good old boy" mentality. I've already noticed that I'm talked to more since I've started losing weight... I half expect flirty responses from them when I get to goal
I also do Real Estate (which I love, but it's hard to build that business working full time elsewhere) First time buyers drive me crazy... they want it all, and are not going to commit to a house until they find it all... at a price that's unrealistic... in an area that is super hot with multiple bids on most houses... oh, and throw in their closing costs please (after that 7K lowball offer)... then they are hurt and confused when their bid is rejected and someone else gets the house! Trust your Real Estate Agent! Honestly, we are not out to jerk you around, we want you in a house just as much as you want in a house!
B: Premier Protein Shake
L: Hormel chili with a bit of cheddar cheese on top!
D: Shrimp and beef stir fry (can't wait!)

Good morning people,
I have a doctor's appointment this afternoon. I been getting light headness and I passed out 3 different times. I'm thinking it's my blood pressure since I'm still on a low dose of blood pressure medicine. Then the bariatric doctors office calls and tells me my blood test results were low in protein. Asked if I was getting60-80 grams of protein a day. I told her I was getting more than 80 a day. So I don't know what they want to do yet.
QOTD I don't work any longer. When I did I hated all the backstabbing that went on in the workplace.
B McDonald's egg mcmuffin and string cheese
L bacon ranch tuna pouch, baby carrots and sliced cucumbers
D sirloin pork chop and squash
S light and fit Greek yogurt and apple.
I don't know if I'll get here tomorrow, I'm going to the beach for the day.
Everyone have a good day
Friends, and I consider you friends even though I have not met you all, friends in kindred spirit.... I am so undone. I know it will be all right but just feeling really emotional. My friend Lauren left early in AM at 4 am yesterday....about 9 am I decided I needed to pick the phone up off the floor so I wouldn't trip on it. We;; the chair I put my hand on to steady myself because I can't fullu bend my legs...moved I ended up falling and seriously opening the suture line in my crotch.. (sorry for the graphic). I immediately knew it was bad...blood etc. Took a pic to send to the Doc,,, He said to go to the ER at the teaching hospital near me as they would have Plastic Surgery interns and residents on hand.
I can only begin to go into the fiasco it was.... and that was with me knowing the VP of the hospital who came down and made sure the head or ER knew I was a special guest.... they didn't want to give me stitches called my doc gave him a hard time and it wasn't till I threw a text to the hospital VP that Magically they were coming to stitch me up.Luckily I ate a bar o the way out the door and brought one with me as no food or even a cup of water was given/offered to me for 6 hours. When my girlfriend who was picking me up got there she finallu got me a glass of water.
So in the alternate universe I live in, I am actually in less pain today and just have what I would call more tightenness...... just emotionally and physically exhausted.
It is noon and all I have been working on is my coffee with miralax and I threw in some unflavored protein powder for good measure. I have tea, water, a few bars and now a warm cup of cottage cheese at my bedside to keep me going...yummmm.... Last night after a day of starvation I had myself a big ole PB and J sandwich and milk.... I little comfort food and I needed the calories. - 2 170 calorie protein bars don't a day make....
agenda today: nothing....
