What's on Your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
Good morning menu peeps,
I woke up early this morning because I was a) pissed off at my daughter's doctor and b) my dang knee hurt. My oldest daughter needs a tonsillectomy. Her tonsils are so enlarged they are touching and she has trouble breathing. She takes like 4 naps a day because she has obstructive sleep apnea and doesn't rest well at night. She saw the ENT last Tuesday and he said they'd call the next day to schedule the surgery. And nada. I've left messages and they don't return them. I'm waiting for them to open this morning and I'm going to go angry mama bear on them. As for my knee, darn arthritis. It's so much better since shedding some pounds, but still rears its ugly head. Ok. Thanks for letting me vent.
Qotd: I HATE the gossip and rumor mill at work. I refuse to take part in it. You know when someone's telling you how bad everyone else is, they're also talking about how much you suck. Gossip is gross. I do come home and vent to hubby, but at work, my lips are sealed.
I've had a very persnickety pouch lately. Things that were fine before haven't sat well the past couple days. I didn't end up eating al of my food yesterday because I was so nauseous. So my plan today is subject to change.

Damn persnickety pouches! I live with one on a regular basis... although I have noticed that I've eaten for a few days now and it's all going well... TINY TEENY servings of most things,,, but I'm happy with no stuck feelings for sure! Hope your pouch gets back in gear soon!

Good morning! I'm struggling with food boredom lately. I bought a few new items yesterday to shake things up, but as I was preparing my menu for today, I realized that the things I bought have a few more calories in them than what I usually eat. So now I'm struggling with staying near my caloric goals. QOTD : My biggest pet peeve at work is people who presume to know your job better than you and insist on giving you unwanted suggestions. 'I'm not trying to tell you now to do your job, but maybe you should...' I hate that.
B - broccoli, asparagus and cheese omelet
S- turkey bite and cheese string
L - 1/2 cottage cheese, 2 slices prociutto
S - Crab flavoured pollock (3 sticks)
D - Chicken, feta and spinach sausage with tomatoes, onions and spinach
S - greek yogurt
- I woke up with a low blood sugar. I'm a type 1 diabetic. So... I ate a half ounce of milk chocolate(80 empty calories). I should have had my sugar tabs. Anyway, tomorrow's another day.

I really dislike having to train anyone, unless they are a go getter that is not afraid to take notes and to try, I find too many people want to be spoon fed and babysat and I do not the patience for that. LOL
