What's On Your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
Unfortunately the choice of docs in my small town are slim pickings. I'm going to stay with her and hope to educate her. My surgeon gave me this great little booklet that shows the data demonstrating that WLS is the only thing shown to keep the weight off for most people long term. I'm going to give it to her next time I see her.

I love my PCP too. She's young, and just a few years out of medical school when I started with her, but really compassionate and fun. I have been her "first" on a couple of things. Her first patient with cancer and her first bariatric patient. She has always been great and very supportive. The first time I saw her after surgery (about 9 months), she walked in the exam room and said, "Holy Crap" when she saw me.

Good morning! I've got heartburn this morning... Not sure why, but I'm not feeling too hungry. I just feel like crawling back into bed. Hopefull I'll feel better once I get moving. So, I went for my zombie walk yesterday. I was all ready to run from the zombies with my workout gear on, my two sports bras (to keep the girls from knocking me out), and the zombies never came after me. I was so ready and pumped to run from them... Anyway, I finished my walk (3.5 km) and felt good after. Maybe I'll be attacked on my walk tomorrow ???
QOTD : I love my coffee. Tim Hortons (two cream, one sugar) or Starbucks latte. But I rarely drink it anymore. I limit myself to one coffee with light cream at home in the morning and then I drink two litres of water throughout the rest of the day/evening. Oh, and I love my Wolf Blass cabernet. Yummy!
