What's On Your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
Ya! I love that you love your PCP, I'm the same way. It makes SUCH a difference too, when you feel like you're getting really good care from someone who cares.
I did a sleep study. It was very odd, but not as bad as I thought it might be. It felt a little like being in a hotel to tell the truth. I took my knitting, watched tv, etc. The hard part was that I ended up having to get up to pee like 5 times and every time you have to ring for a nurse to come unhook all these wires and then try not to let them dangle into the toilet LOL.
Another day of a somewhat unsettled menu as I'm meeting a friend for dinner after I get a hair cut.

RNY @ Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia with Dr. Tatyan Clark 3/18/2014
I love my PCP. I don't think my PCP has many patients who have had WLS, I may have been her first actually. The good thing is she's friends with my surgeon, so any time she had a question about anything, she'd whip out her phone and text him. She was skeptical that conversion to RNY would cure my reflux, and tried to come up with "medical" solutions, but once I told her I'd made up my mind, she was 100% on board. It was funny, after my revision, I broke out in a rash and my surgeon couldn't figure out the cause. When my PCP came to check on my, I told her about the rash and she said "finally, something I can fix for you!" She was so happy to see that rash!! I think she was feeling left out for a bit!
