What's On Your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
Good Tuesday morning, my friends! So yesterday's doc appointment went well. Can I just say that I love my PCP? She's the sweetest and I never feel like I'm being rushed or ignored. She's scheduling me for a sleep study and suggested melatonin until then to see if that helps. She didn't want to prescribe any meds for now (although she did ask me how I felt about them) so we're taking a "wait and see" approach until after the study. Has anyone done a sleep study? Matt did an 'at home' one, but she wants me to do a proper clinic version. Oh! And doncha know I bought the melatonin and effing forgot to take it last night? LMAO Typical Kristen.
QOTD! Ereiam posted about her dislike of water in another thread, so I want to know: what's your beverage? You guys know I love my iced coffee (and vodka, LOL) but my go-to cold bevvy is a half-strength Wyler's Half Iced Tea/Half Lemonade. I put one of the drink sticks in a one liter bottle and I am good to go. Also? The word half looks fake. half half half half. LOLOL And the Wegman's house brand version of Fresca is the bomb. It's called Wedge and I love it so.

Have an awesome day, guys!
Good morning AV & friends! It's so funny how much this is a part of my daily routine now. I get started at work, but don't feel like my day is really going good until I get my menu up and posted here. A sleep study seems like a good idea--hopefully it's an easy fix.
QOTD: I mostly drink water. It starts out ice water, but is usually just cool by the time I finish my tervis tumbler full around early afternoon. (This is after my 2 cups of tea in the morning). Sometimes I drink lifewater zero-lemonaid. I love it...but mainly water. And when I'm out I always order unsweet tea. Oh sugar--how I miss thee. But unsweet is still good.
B- irish tea w/SF creamer; 3 oz ground turkey with taco seasoning, slice of cheddar, salsa & greek yogurt
L- 2 oz baked cod, squash
D- chicken thigh

Good morning! Nope, thankfully I've never needed a sleep study. I can't imagine that if I had problems sleeping at home that I would EVER sleep in front of strangers in a strange place. I never understood how that could work.
QOTD: I am ok with water, but I feel very strongly about the temperature of my beverages throughout the day!
Morning = HOT. Mid-day = COLD ****d). Evening = ROOM TEMP.
So a typical day starts with hot decaf, then I move on to iced water (sometimes with Mio drops, sometimes plain) or a large iced decaf, and then in the evening, I usually drink a Powerade, Sobe or G2 at room temperature. I drink well during the weekdays because I am on a schedule, but I am terrible about remembering to drink on weekends.
How is the Light & Fit Caramel Salted Pretzel? It sounds yummy.

I agree about the weekend drinking. . . I'm severely lacking. For some reason I forget to drink. Like you, I'm on a schedule at work (I don't eat lunch until I have at least 30oz in' no snac****il another 30 oz; then 30 more before I go home) but the weekends . . . I totally forget about fluid. As a result (I don't know if the causal link I'm making is actually there) I never show a weight loss on Monday
Good Morning AV, I hope your sleep study comes up with something useful! I have never had one, so I cant give you any idea of what it will be like.
