Multivitamin suggestions

I`m looking for a QUALITY Multivitamin with iron that is comparable to the Bariatric Advantage ones. Reason being is because the BA brand is so expensive and you need to take 3 a day. To buy 270, it`s about $50. Does anyone have a suggestion? No Flinstones please. I want quality. Thanks!

Good Morning! For my multi I take Centrum chewables (they are an orange flavor).  I can find them at Walmart or Target.

Nope. ETA: I prefer chewable vitamins because I like to take them with food and due to the no drinking rules I still use chewables :)

I take the Centrum Silver, or the store brand equivalent. We don't need vitamins specifically made for bariatric post-ops, but I get preferring them. The reason the BA vites are so costly is because they're made specifically for bariatric peeps. A normal good quality multi will provide everything we need at a lesser cost, though we may need bumped up dosages of some vitamins or minerals based on our labs.

I take Centrum Silver because I prefer to take my iron separately.

I don't take chewables usually, but at times, I do.

Ok, now what is the normal daily requirement for iron? Anybody?

"Normal" women are recommended 17 -19mg/day (via NIH).

Women who've had WLS should get 50 - 100mg elemental iron per day (via ASMBS).

Keep in mind, that's just a recommendation. Some take less, while others take several times as much, and it's still not enough.

We all need to have regular labs, and track the results.
