What's On Your Monday Menu, RNYers?
Good Morning!! It is supposed to rain off and on here today, just like yesterday. Good luck at the doctor's today!!
QOTD: So I was NEVER a sweets person before surgery, I could take it or leave it, but now I love sweets!?!??!!! So weird. I love apple pie so much...YUM! But that brownie sundae sounds amazing as well!!
NSV TIME: So we had a kid free day on Saturday, that NEVER happens. So we went for a nice hike. And ended up rescuing an elderly couple from NY, they somehow went up one trail then down a different one and they were LOST, and calling 911 when we found them. Poor things were terrified and confused. So we told them to walk down to the nearest road and we would find them. So we had to go back UP the mountain and down again. We practically RAN the whole way, we were really worried about them. I RAN A MOUNTAIN GUYS!!! And it was awesome, and I was winded, but not dying!!!

Aww, well done rescuing the poor old folks. LOL And hell yes, apple pie! Every fall the neighboring town hosts an apple festival and we never miss it. Apple fritters for the win!
OK, I don't know about anywhere else, but at the Lafayette Apple Fest it's an apple slice dipped in batter, deep fried and then rolled in sugar. It's terrible. LOL

Criminy. Why did you have to mention apple fritters? Now you're going to end up with JB living in your shed during apple fritter season, every damn autumn.
