Cure for boredom and the munchies=a brisk walk!
Today has been gloomy and cooler here in Illinois and a big pouch day. Before surgery that would have meant snacking on anything that was in the house. And I mean Anything! Post surgery I usually clean and do housework but hubby wasn't feeling well and napping so noise was out of the question. So instead I went for a nice brisk 3 mile walk, the second one of the day.. The best thing was--that I could and came back feeling strong and healthy.. And to think that 4 years ago I was out of breath going down my basement steps! What a difference 4 years and 150 pounds makes. So thankful today for my surgery!
