What's on your Sunday Menu, RNYers?

Good morning everyone!  I am starting my Sunday out as a lazy slug. I am laying in bed watching Harry Potter. There is a weekend marathon on ION TV network. It is overcast this morning, but supposed to clear up later and be 80 degrees.  I need to tackle Mt. laundry today, and hang light on my patio.  Squirrels used the last ones as a highway and pulled them down, the furry little brats.  Good thing they are cute.

i hosted a BBQ at my house last night. It was a beautiful evening, and I grilled just about every protein known to man, chicken, steak, shrimp and salmon.  That's what you get when a RNYer is in charge of the menu.  It was great fun, and it made me finally get the back patio in shape. The pictures below are of my patio.  It is my favorite place to read on a hot day.

QOTD: The last movie I saw in a theater was Tarzan. It was good.  I mean, Alexander Skarsgard. Without. A. Shirt.  OMG!

My menu is incomplete, because I am just not feeling the eating thing today.  I feel fine, just not interested if you know what I mean.  My menu is an Egg Beaters Omelette with mozzarella and ham ( I am out of bacon.  Oh, the humanity!), chicken thigh and rib eye.  That only comes to 496 calories and 44 grams of protein, so I need to make some adjustments. Just not feeling it.

Have a great Sunday!

Thanks. It is the perfect place to be lazy, and take an afternoon snooze. Both things are on my agenda for today after my chores are done.

Happy Sunday everyone!

It is hot and humid here in MD. Hubby and I have been up since 8am. We finished running errands- trip to Walmart and Autozone before my kids were even out of bed. Came home and made my tweens get up at the early hour of 11am. They are going to have a tough time when school starts up again next month :)

I was excited to find the Banana and Creme Premier Protein at Walmart. Picked up a 4 pack and the new Harry Potter book as a treat for myself. I've got an exciting afternoon planned after I tackle my own Mt. Laundry.

Qotd- the last movie I saw was The Secret Life of Pets. I took my boys last month. It was cute and my 10yo loved it.

B-coffee with sugar free syrup and cashew milk, Premier Protein shake

L- leftover meatloaf

S- Dannon Oikos crunch

D- steak on the grill and some steamed veggies.

I am realizing I need to save more calories for the evening as I end up going over my calorie count with snacks (I've always been in the habit of eating more at night and I'm just hungrier then). There is not sense in eating in the am when food is just unappealing to me. Might as well save the calories!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Good Morning and Happy Sunday! Hope you have a wonderful relaxing day. So glad we are all enjoying our turtle race! I have church and then maybe swimming at the gym but otherwise the goal is to stay indoors since it will close to 110 today.

QOTD: I think the last movie I saw was Avengers. It's been too long.

Menu for today is a latte and shake for breakfast, lunch will be albacore tuna, baby carrots and grapes, normal snacks for the afternoon and dinner shredded chicken, black beans, cheese and sour cream on top of some lettuce and a little SF jello. I may throw a banana in there somewhere if I feel my body needs it after the miles I ran yesterday!

Exercise done (6 miles this morning) and water and vits on track.

110 degrees?  Wow, that does not sound like a good time.  Sounds like a good day for a movie on tv.  Stay cool!

Good afternoon!  I'm a little late to the party, but I'm here :-).  I'm posting a picture of last night's dinner because it was delicious and looked really pretty. It's about a cup of food on a small plate.  I had the most interesting walk last night.  I installed an app called Zombie run.  You start your walk or run and then zombies starts coming after you and you have to increase your pace or they catch you and attack you.  It was so much fun and I haven't walked that fast in a long time.  I endend up doing 3.5 km!  QOTD :  I saw Finding Dori with my husband and three girls a couple of weeks ago.  It was great!

Menu today :

B- scrambled eggs with slice of velveeta cheese, coffee with light cream

S - no snack, late breakfast

L - leftovers of last night's dinner (Chicken sausage with feta and spinach, with tomatoes, onions and spinach)

S - turkey bite, cheese string, premier protein drink

D - Pork roast, veggies

S - greek yogurt

Total : 923  Protein : 94  Carbs : 33   Fat : 49
