What's on Your (photo) Friday Menu, RNYers?
I'm not a sports fan (gasp!) other than that I love watching ice skating, but I don't have any "fan wear" stuff.
My best feature... I'm told it's my smile but I prefer my hair... I have been blessed with gorgeous, thick and naturally wavy hair. Even though I've lost about half of it since surgery, it still looks thick and full. I'm a little vain about it, usually. I decided to stop doing highlights this year, as I don't want to lose more of it to the chemical processes than I'm already losing, but now the color has evened out, I got it cut shoulder length the other day with lots of layers and I'm happy with it again
Got my latest lab results yesterday - everything is on the low side, with Calcium borderline. Blows my mind! In addition to the calcium supplements I take everyday, I eat lots of yogurt and cheese everyday.
Oh - and I got a treadmill yesterday! No more weather related excuses for me!
Today's meal plan:
B: COFFEE!!!! and Yoplait Plenti - strawberry oatmeal today
L: chicken and munster cheese roll ups. Applesauce
D: Round steak from the crockpot with onions and mushrooms (YUM!)
S: SF popsicles and beef jerky
HW: 333 Consult Weight: 318 SW: 293

Good Morning Everyone!
I'm not a sports fan, although if you live in Nebraska, EVERYONE here is a Nebraska football fan, so I'm a real weirdo for not being on the band wagon.
QOTD: I'd like to say my long hair, but lately it has been falling out terribly, so I may be bald soon! Someone please tell me the hair falling out eventually stops and grows back?
Yesterday I ate: Clif protein bar, zucchini noodles with melted cheese, moon cheese, great northern beans & bacon, 1/2 cup frozen yogurt and a Clif protein bar.
Have a super day everyone!
~ Karen
I promise it will all grow back. Mine is just as thick now as before my surgeries but when it was thinning I made sure to keep it colored because it makes it less noticeable. I'm older than you (56) and still have long hair too because my hubby likes it. If it were up to me I would keep it chin length. I get to pick the color but hubby picks the length. Mine grew back in a bit wavy which was odd since it was straight as could be before surgery. I kind of like the waves now.
Morning AV & crew!! No big weekend plans. We leave for Miami on Wednesday so getting everything in order for our trip if all on the agenda. Getting my nails done and finding a blonde wig is high on my priority list :-)
QOTD- favorite feature: my legs- always has been. I've got fierce calf muscles and IMO the "perfect knee to leg joint LOL
Time since surgery 15 months
M1: 4 turkey sausage links
M2: 2oz honey BBQ deli chicken, 1 oz cheese, 1 oz cashews
M3: pulled pork left overs (There is barely any actual meat left-- so this meal may be a bust)
M4: Steak
Yesterday i had a philly soft pretzel-- 70 damn carbs in one of those bad boys. Ugg--- and two think I used to easily eat 2 of them. Oddly enough they have 14g of protein-- made be feel a tad less guilty-- but I won;t be having one of those for a long time to come!!
Since I'm not a sports fan I don't have any photo's to fit your theme today. I'll toss in my surgery day/14-months post-op side by side instead...
