Heart palpitations anyone ?
the past three days, when I eat and drink I get heart palpitations and feel very tired and just bla about 5 min after . When I was in the recovery room after my bypass I heard the anesthesiologist telling my nurse that I had been tachy throughout the case . When I was preggers with my last couple of babies I had to go on bed rest at 16 weeks due to tachicardia. Resting hr was 125 throughout my remaining 20 weeks but they told me it was only due to the strain of carrying twins and I would be fine after delivery. Has anyone experienced this after rny or should I seek out a cardiologist

If I were you,I'd find a cardiologist. When it comes to heart issues it's best to be certain. I used to have tachycardia because of my weight and blood pressure issues. Now my pulse is nice and low. In fact my cardiologist was my biggest cheerleader when I had surgery. Every visit since I lost the weight his first comment is always"yes, she's still skinny!" My last appointment in March he said he didn't need to see me for two years. I felt like I haD won the lottery!
That is awesome . I was kinda putting it out there just to see if anyone had the symptoms after surgery. I thought it may be possible that it's a certain nerve in my stomach or esophageal spasms instead of my actual heart. Well, I'm hoping it is anyways .
