I would totally wear the light up sneakers if I could fit my feet into them! hahaha!

I think you should figure out a way to put a glow stick on your sneakers, just to razz the hubs a bit

Morning all,  Hope everyone is doing good,  sorry you felt bad AV my mom suffers from vertigo and it is absolutely miserable.  Went for my mammogram yesterday usually they have to take all kinds of pictures but yesterday they didn't I go to Baylor to have it done and before you leave you see the doctor to find out the results right then.  When the Doctor came in she said  I can tell you've lost a lot of weight cause we got better images Yahoo!! An unexpected bonus of weight loss!

I also had my support group last night.  Dr Vadim Sherman was the speaker.  He encourages his patients to eat basically a plant based or vegan diet.  His talk was very interesting.  He doesn't believe you should count calories or protein after  3 months just eat fruit veggies whole grain breads, pasta etc. and he said it will be almost impossible to gain weight.  He believes in no processed foods.  It was very interesting.  Some one asked if it was ok to have smoothies and he replied yes but don't add protein powder he does not like protein drinks or powders.  I asked him about the fact that they tell us to make sure we get 60-80 gm of protein a day and that I had recently read someone who said their surgeon had told them 40-60 gm  he said that there is really no data to support 60-80 gms.  He said just eat basically a Mediterranean diet. Without having very much fish or meat. Oh and he loves potatoes.  Just don't add all the good stuff.

QOTD--I have always said I was 5'2" but when I went to my surgeon they measured me at 5'3" so I will go with that lol.  I wear a size 7 but in flip flops I wear an 8 cause I hate when people wear flip flops and their heels hang off.

wow- that is against everything I've been told from many nutritionists.

I would be curious if it is true long term- with not gaining weight.
