What's On Your Monday Menu, RNYers?
Did you enjoy Montreal? I live in NY state, I am only about 45 minutes from Montreal. Love it there!
Don't let the bad press fool you. I have been to Paris many times, and have always found Parisians to be kind, helpful and very welcoming. I find anywhere in the world, that people generally treat you like you treat them. If you are gracious and polite (according to the customs of their country), then they are the same in return. It is usually only when visitors forget they are guests, and do not show respect to local norms and customs, that they are treated in kind.

Good morning! Glad everyone had good weekends....I've been seeing the pics--so fun! Back to the grind today though. My kids start school Thursday and I will be off work then. Sometimes I feel like I miss a lot of "normal mom stuff" being a working mom--so I thought taking the first day off to get those pictures and bake cookies and all that would be nice.
QOTD: grocery store checker. My register was never right, but back in those days it wasn't a huge deal. Food stamps screwed me up everytime. I didn't work there all that long before I got a job at a bed and breakfast, which I loved.

QOTD: my first paycheck earning job was at a corn farm! I was like 13, but still got a legit pay check and I sorted and sold corn at the farm stand. My two BFFs worked there too. The boys picked corn and the girls sold it...oy!
