What's On Your Monday Menu, RNYers?
Good morning!
Weekend was great, though we had several big storms on Friday night and Saturday, did not interrupt our camping, we had a blast playing Cards against Humanity as we could not sit by the campfire Friday Night. I smoked Ribs on Saturday, they were incredible! Our dog was very Whiney on Friday night , she wanted to get in bed with DW and I and we would not give in, she does NOT sleep with us at home, she sleeps with our youngest, so was kind of strange behavior from her. Saturday night she was fine. We left camp early yesterday and went home and lounged around, to the Hot Tub, back to lounging, I look like Larry the Lobster today!
QOTD - my first job was at a restaurant, I started as a line cook and left there as a Manager.

Good morning! Sounds like your son was a star, AV, even if they didn't win this particular game. I'm looking forward to the OH meet up report too!
QOTD: First full time job was in the newspaper advertising department of a big department store in Vancouver, BC. It was an eye-opener to the world of office politics. Edited to add: the department was in the midst of being unionized when I started working there, and there was a long and difficult history, which is probably why people on both sides of the conflict were so intensely angry and bitter. Yikes! I was only there for a year.

I'll check back in later, as I have little time at the moment. But I wanted to say that this weekend's meetup with Daisy and her husband was fantastic! They truly are even better in person than I could have imagined.
Here's a little taste: JB and Daisy in their Happy Place.

My weekend was ok, I guess. It was a typical ****ty eating experience (one after another) for me, and I am just so freaking depressed and pissy with myself. I almost didn't come here today, I am just defeated.
QOTD: My first, for real job, was McDonalds. I worked there for 2 years in high school. I was working pretty much full time hours while going to school my senior year. WTF??? How does that even happen?? lol
