  Blessings on your day!

It's all nonsense.  Go back to protein and healthy fats first, carbs last... and that's the "reset".

Regain is not from your surgery.  It is the body's way of healing from weight loss surgery.  Everyone gains about 20 pounds by the end of year three.

If you really want to lose the weight for good, there is only one way to do that.  You need to reduce the calories you consume.

Multiply your goal weight by 10 and that is the calories you need to maintain your goal weight.  Subtract 500 calories a day to lose 1 pound a week.  Keep doing that for 25 weeks to lose 25 pounds.

One thing you are not doing is weighing daily.  You need to know exactly how much you weigh or you will live in denial and never get the weight under control again.

YIKES! So I am at 110. I like it here. I am just 4' 11". So what you are saying is  I need to go down to 90 lbs to stay here. Is that right? And I need to  only eat 500 calories for 10-12 weeks and then only 900 calories to maintain that until the dreaded bounce back. Is this right??

You are only a few months out from surgery.  I would try to get down about 10 more pounds in the next year.  Your maintenance calories will be at least 1100.  You are too small to attempt to lose a pound a week.  In your case it will probably be more like a pound a month by eliminating about 100 calories a day.

Thank-you, White Dove for your reply. I usually stay at 700-800 calories right now. Should I stay there or increase to 1000 and just drop 1 lb a month? I like where I am at so if I had a 20 or 30 weight gain from bounce back I would freak out!

Regain did not happen to me until month 30.  I was 128 pounds and eating about 1400 calories a day and had done that for more than a year with no change in weight.  My goal is 136 and my surgeon kept reminding me that bounce-back would happen.   I did not believe him.

One day I was at the doctors and up five pounds.  A month later another five and kept gaining about a pound a wee****il I hit 142 and then freaked out big time.  I tried Weigh****chers, more exercise, and talked to my nutritionist.  She told me no more protein shakes and no more drinking calories.

I finally got the weight off with going back to 900 calories a day and lost a pound a week.  Now I weigh daily and cut calories is I see any gains.  Sometimes I can lose two pounds a week on 900 calories.  The body is strange.

I have been at the same weight for a couple of weeks so I am at either a stall or need to drop more calories. I think it is a stall because I had to have my GB out a few weeks ago and my exercise routine changed drastically. I am just now able to jog again.

Many have been able to get back on track using the 5 Day Meat Test.  Do a search on the forum and you will find the details.  I'm not good with posting links.  It will enable you to get rid of the cravings while losing weight.
