How long have you been on the liquid diet? I found that after day 4, things got much better.  Before that, it was a matter of white knuckling my way through it.  Hang in there.  You've got this!

Warmed up flavored broth, chai tea with a vanilla protein froth and broth from hot and sour soup are all nice ways to change it up.

I wasn't on liquids as long as you but I just happened to love liquids!

At 2 weeks post op I was on full fluids and had plain Greek yogurt, strained cream soups, cottage cheese. Good luck

Switching up between broth (beef, chicken and vegetable) and cold stuff like protein shakes, protein pudding, jello, and freezing things like popsicles, frozen protein shake (made it up like icecream in my ice cream freezer) kept things sort of interesting. Flavoring my water also helped (and still helps) me get in my fluid.

Im 2 weeks post op as well but approved for soft & pureed foods and grateful because 4 weeks on liquids has been horrible. Ive tried baby food, yogurt, egg beaters. Then I was tired of the sweet and needed something salty. I ate red & black beans with a low fat skinless turkey sausage. I chewed each bite extremely well before swallowing and no issues. I am craving salt and can barely handle anymore sweet.
