Good Morning, Everyone!
Thanks for starting us out, Karen!
Loved the pictures of Daisy and "The Grims". They look like they are having so much fun!
QOTD: There are so many things I am thankful for! I can move around without all that excess weight weighing me down and my bad knees aren't nearly as sore any more. My overall health is so much better and I just feel better all over!
What I ate yesterday was: a Clif protein bar, Moon cheese, a lettuce salad with tomato & bacon, a hamburger patty and a Clif protein bar.
Have a wonderful day everybody!
~ Karen
QOTD: I am thankful I want to take pictures now with my kids. We do not have many of us together when they were little. Now we have tons. Not as many with my creepy teenager right now, but my little one still loves pics with Mom!!
I ate a ton of sweets yesterday. Ugh. Now I have a raging headache. I was stressed and over-tired and ate a ton last night before I went to bed. No damage on the scale, but my head is killing me!! I always say "never again" but I know it will. Thankfully I do not go off the rails very often. Drinking lots of coffee right now hoping it will help.
Goals today: Paint the sunroom, take all my vitamins, keep calories under 1800, walk 20,000 steps, get 7 hours of sleep tonight.

Happy Sunday! I think when we get home I'm taking my kids to a pool. We have a pool at home but Jason will be sleeping for work and we have to get school supplies this afternoon anyway--so maybe a big pool with a slide.
My favorite thing since RNY is my self confidence. I didn't think my self esteem was low before but apparently it was. I feel so much better about myself inside. Yes, it's easier to climb stairs and buy clothes, but all of that makes me feel better about me.

have a great day guys!

Thanks for starting us off this morning, Karen. Have a great time camping. As you know, camping is not my thing, but I might be able to get behind it if I had a rig as nice as yours.
Daisy, Arun and the Grims look like they are having a great time. I love that our menu peeps are able to meet in real life. I am so looking forward to NY in September!
Tonght I have a Willie Nelson concert. It is at Edgefield, which is this amazing venue just outside of Portland. It is a resort, spa, winery, distillery, golf course and concert venue. All with a dash of funky (as opposed to luxury) thrown in. So much fun. I am not really a huge Willie Nelson fan, but he is a legend, and will be a lot of fun to see. Plus, the weather should be perfect for an outside concert.
Tomorrow I start a two day prep for a colonoscopy on Wednesday. Clear liquids, nothing red or orange. It is almost impossible to find a sf Popsicle that is not red or orange. I have also been off of my iron supplements for a week, as well as no nuts or seeds. Is white wine considered a clear liquid?
I am fighting my inner fat girl that keeps telling me to binge eat pizza today, since I won't be able to eat for almost 3 days. She is a ***** and has terrible ideas. Sometimes, there is no reasoning with her, so I am just trying to ignore her and hope she shuts up.
QOTD: I have one from this week. At my leadership retreat, we had a shuttle take us to dinner. It was one of those long vans, with 6 rows of seats. I got in first, and without even thinking about it, crawled all the way to the back row. I would never have been able to do that before, and would have been filled with anxiety at the thought of just getting in and out of the van in front of my work peers, let alone crawling over rows of seats to the back. #RNYisamiracle
My menu is up in the air because of the concert. I had my regular egg beaters, mozzarella and bacon omelette for breakfast, and will have the insides of a gyros for lunch. Probably a hamburger patty for dinner at the concert. I will try to stay away from their crispy, delicious tater tots (inner fat girl is fighting me on this).
Have a great Sunday!

Good morning! Hope you have a great time camping, I know you always do. QOTD: The ability to be active.
My menu for today: latte and shake for breakfast, lunch is TBD since we are heading out after church for Em's laptop for school so we will grab something while we are out, normal afternoon snacks and dinner spinach crust pizza with Alfredo sauce and chicken sausage on it with either Arctic zero or SF jello. 6 miles done and water and vits started.
Enjoy the day!
