I love all of those clothes on you, Cynthia. I especially love the maxi dress, but maybe find a better bra??

Sounds like you have a great weekend lined up, AV! My weekend plans aren't too exciting, as I'll be staying indoors due to the heat outside. I am thankful to have portable air conditioners in the livingroom and bedroom, and plenty of cooked protein in the fridge. I will work on a freelance project, read some great new books I picked up from the library, and will walk the dogs/do housework at the crack of dawn. If I'm desperate for a change of scenery, I might go to the air-conditioned mall and window shop. Exercise will likely be mall-walking or the treadmill. I do look forward to the reading time!
QOTD: If I run out of protein snacks while travelling, I will stop at a McDonalds if there is one and order a double hamburger no onion extra ketchup (I eat the patties not the bun). Not a taste treat, but it is filling and cheap. Otherwise I will buy a protein bar at the convenience store/gas bar - they don't have the best selection, but what they usually have will do in a pinch. As a last resort, I'll get a muffin - not a great choice, but more lasting than a chocolate bar (although often more calories). I'll have to look for jerky next time I'm in that situation. Thanks for the suggestion.
B: ham
L: chicken thigh and a small nectarine
D: roast pork with laughing cow cheese smeared on it to cut the dryness
S: ham, banana, sf jello
Hope everyone else is finding a way to beat the heat this weekend!
