I didn't speak a friend of mine that is down 158 pounds and 2 years out spoke. I don't like getting in front of people and talking. So I was glad she was there.

Deficiencies take longer than 6 months to appear,  but these results are just a snapshot of the day you had the blood drawn.  

I would recommend getting copies of your labs before surgery as well as these ones and COMPARE them.  That is the real picture of what is going on.  Did your doctor do that?  I'll bet not ..

YOU are the best advocate for your health because who cares more?   Don't surrender your health to any medical professional, however nice they are.  You are just one of the hundreds they care for - no more special than that.
