Corned beef hash at 2AM? Hahaha... I go through cycles with the night time routine and am in a bad one now. I" ll get up to gp to bed and be like 'oh I need to do the dishes'... and it is a long time before I get to bed. I have been known to mop the kitchen floor at 1AM.
That being said my hormal/perimenopausal woes started in my early 40s and that included sleep. For awhile I used to take valerian because melatonin always gave me a hangover. Now I keep Generic kids chewable Benadryl in my nightstand. The component in Tylenol PM to make you go to sleep is benadryl. I like the kids for several reasons...one you can take a small or large dose, usually take one or two. (Could take up to 4). Alsp because it is chewable...no water needed...and I chew it but keep it in my mouth so it passes through the tissue in your mouth and gets into your bloodstream faster...doesnt need to be digested tgrough your stomach. I originally startec carrying this due to allergic reactions and wanting it to work fast.
Have to teach an art class at a new library today. Nervous.

Hello Beautiful People!
Another day full of meetings today and then I am off to go to my iron infusion. I am hoping I feel like a rock start after the infusion. My son continues to do well, healing from his surgery nicely.
QOTD: The Guy and I usually play cards (usually Forever Evil by Cryptozoic for the nerds out there) and then stumble to bed around midnight. I usually can fall asleep pretty quickly but that could be because we stay up too darn late. I think for us it is just that we have to wait until the kids are all off in their rooms for the night before we can get that sit, play cards, and talk time we like to have every night. So we end up being up late. Maybe I don't need iron as much as I need a nap. LOL
Menu:
B: Chobani Greek yogurt "Crunch" blueberry
L: Unknown... working through lunch work meeting where they bring in food.
S: Cheese stick, Mandarin orange
D: Dirty rice with sausage
Totals: Unknown, hoping for the best with lunch.
Be well everyone!

Good morning ! Warm and Humid here today as well, office is icy cold so that is a benefit. I play Hockey on Thursday nights, so another plus!
QOTD - Routine is as follows, DW and I usually go in the Hot Tub and then right up to bed, we will read and watch TV for a bit and usually lights out by 10:30. I am usually awake by 4:30 am, and do not get out of bed until about 6 am.....I am lucky that I do not require more than 6 -7 hours of sleep to function.
B - Protein Bar
S - Dannon Light and fit greek yogurt and peanuts
L - Cabbage roll casserole ( 90/10 burger, slaw nix and pasta sauce)
S - Cheese stick
Pre hockey snack - Protein bar
D - Left over grilled shrimp
Exercise - I am coaching a hockey clinic and then playing right after....its a great day for hockey.
Stay healthy my friends!
Good Morning! Hoping that the work day goes by fast today since I am here 1/2 day tomorrow and off Monday-Wednesday (little break before Em goes back to school)
QOTD: DO NOT LAUGH AT MY BEDTIME TIME....I am usually in bed between 7:30-7:45 (to my credit I get up at either 3:05 or 3:35 depending on if it's a gym day or not) so I am ready for bed early and most nights when my head hits the pillow I am out. After dinner I usually shower, sit and chat and watch a little tv with hubby and Em, then get ready for bed. I usually turn on a DVD just for background noise (currently it's How I Met Your Mother) and snooze away. My buddy, Ruppert is usually cuddling up right next to me snoring away until John comes to bed, then Ruppert heads to his crate in John's "office".

I would never laugh at your bedtime; that actually sounds heavenly. LOL And Em is starting school when? It seems so early. Here in NY, the kids typically don't head back until the Wednesday after Labor Day.
