What's on Your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
Good morning all! I am feeling positive this morning although I don't know why. The world is conspiring against me. For one: when I weight yesterday, I was up like 1.3 pounds. This morning I had lost that plus a little more, but MFP total weight lost is now screwed up by 2 pounds. YES--the girl who weighed 276 a few short months ago is pissed that her total weight loss is inaccurate by 2 pounds. Don't judge me.
Secondly, I have a million and one things to do today at work, none of which are going to be pleasant, but will make the day fly by.
QOTD: Honestly, what haven't I bought? I am scaring myself a little and need to slow down on the shopping, but I have needed some new stuff and it's back to school time, so it's been a bit much. I got a new floral shirt like a week ago and it's my current favorite thing on. Saturday night me and DH are going to Indy to see Jim Gaffigan and I bought a new black shirt with shoulder cut outs for it. We'll see if I like it as much as my floral shirt. haha.

Your question of the day makes me sad as I haven't bought anything in new clothing wise in close to a year other than sneakers. Haven't even been to Goodwill in close to that same amount of time. I am in the process of sorting through to get rid of some old things I'm tired of so I have room for some new. It's a totally new experience for me to wear the same clothes in the same size for three years and still have them fit great. I must say I love That! Post op 46.75 months and weight at 118 today. No walk yet this am as it has been pouring all morning. Hoping it let's up sometime or I will be stuck on the stinking Dreadmill! Ugh! Plans today include working at the senior meal and then this evening helping at a mobile food pantry in a nearby town where I grew up. Here's the food plan B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 1 c chili D taco salad before the food pantry S mission one chocolate brownie protein bar. Have a great day everyone and make some amazing choices!
I bought and bought right at first because it was such a new experience. Almost scared myself a bit like chassibi said. Then it lost the excitement of being a new thing. Plus hubby retired and we had to tighten the belt a bit too. Car is paid off now though so that frees up a big chunk of money. I will say I am frugal (hubby says a tightwad) so don't ever shop regular price things. Most are Goodwill finds or very marked down clearance things.
Me too!! Took my 14 year old school shopping tonight and rue 21 had tons of tunics for $2.48 ! Score! We filled up a big shopping bag stuffed full for a little more than $30
