If you are lazy like me OR don't want to pay shipping. you can always find the item at kohls on your phone app- add it, run up to the store or sit in parking lot- connect to their wifi, and pay through the app- FREE shipping

I've done this several times because 1) they sometimes have different clearance online, 2) I don't have time to hunt for it in store, 3) I don't want to pay shipping, or 4) if I buy online i will spend less than going in and shopping the racks...

I think I might do better posting what I ate the day before, rather than trying to figure it out in advance right now... I'm so limited on what my dang pouch will accept, that if I do eat something and it doesn't agree (like yesterday) I end up not eating anything else because it often takes HOURS for it to clear! Yesterday I ate leftover falafel and a minuscule amount of gyro meat with some sauce (it wasn't the tatziki sauce, it was another one for the falafels)... I had eaten the exact same thing the day before, but yesterday it got stuck and caused me grief all day/night long... I was probably a little dehydrated this morning, but I've been consciously drinking a ton of water so far. Now I don't know if I should try the smoked oysters I've had in my desk drawer for lunch, or just another shake (I've eaten the smoked oysters successfully several times). I know I'm only 9.5 weeks out, and I know other's have had this issues, but honestly folks, I really just want to be able to eat an ounce or two of MEAT. I'm really tired of fish...

So QOTD: I bought a dress! I haven't worn dresses in ages, but between getting all dressed up for the wedding, and seeing ya'll with your dress challenge a few weeks ago, I decided I needed a couple of dresses in my closet. I don't have a picture, but when I wear it, I'll post one! It's more of a work dress, but it was only $12.00 at Ross, so I think I scored a good deal!

B: a shake

L: Just not sure... I'm hungry, but afraid after last night's fiasco... maybe my smoked oysters, maybe just a shake

D: Probably a shake, but if I feel up to it, some cheese and cottage cheese

I love smoked oysters.  LOVE.  And recently my husband has been buying little cans of Bumble Bee smoked trout.  Also delish.

And as much as I have eggs on my menu, they will occasionally cause me great gastric distress.  And there's no rhyme or reason to it, either, it seems.

OK, I'm going to have to look for the smoked trout. My hubs just makes this face when I pull out the can of smoked oysters...

My 16yo daughter though, loves them too, and I have to hide a can or two for me because she'll eat them all (Of course, she has 1 ritz cracker for each smoked oyster, and I'm always very jealous... I'm eating mine with pork rinds hahaha)

Egg salad works fine for me, but I haven't tried other eggs yet. I used to get nauseous sometimes prior to surgery with fried/scrambled eggs, so I figure I'll hold on a bit. I guess the mayo counteracts it in the salad?

Aww sorry to hear about yesterday and the food. I remember I tried Falafel a few months into surgery, I think I was 5 or 6 months post op and it did not sit well!  I say give up on them for a bit.  Oysters should be fine, they are more squishy for lack of another word.

What about chili?  Make chili dogs? Make sloppy joes and just eat the meat? What about a quiche?  Egg Salad?

Good luck I know its hard this transition time, but you can do it and before you know it all food will go down fine! LOL LOL

I LOVE ROSS!!! I am not sure if I love Ross more or Target or equally, they are both so awesome!!  Yes post a pic for us for Photo Friday!

I've learned to really hate Target, but I know why... their plus size section is TINY, and most of the clothes are just ugly (why do designers think that fat people have bad taste?? This has been a pet peeve of mine for years!)... maybe I'll give them another chance when I'm outta the plus size!

I'm trying to be patient... I really am... and I know that in time it'll all be good. And secretly (ok, not so secretly since I'm mentioning it here) I have this part of my brain that figures this is better because when my pouch does stretch, then I'll still be smaller than other people I know... maybe that's not right at all, but I'm going with it. Sometime I also think there's a staple sticking through and it catches on foods, and that's why I have such a hard time! hahaha!

But it's hard... we are going to Dallas for the weekend, I already know food will be an issue as we'll be going out to eat with Hubby's coworker's, and I won't be able to get much protein down... it's hard to concentrate on protein, when eating out, and you can't have meat (or at least sometimes you can, but not always... sigh).
