Wow. So sorry for your hubby and for everyone involved. How terrible. Consider having hubby talk to a professional ASAP. The sooner after a trauma you are able to process it, the less negitive outcomes people have. It can really help. Even having him write it all out can be helpful.

This sucks. There is nothing he could have done. The only thing that could have saved that kid was a trauma surgeon and a OR. And maybe not even that if he had made it to the hospital. ((((HUGS))))

I'm so sorry to hear about your hubby seeing the accident and about the death of the young man. Just reassure hubby that he did all he could and more than many passersby would have. Sometimes there just is no other outcome possible. The young man just stood no chance. I'll be praying for you,hubby and for the young man's Family! Life is so fleeting we really should never take it or our loved ones for granted!
