I am upset about it too. I was a revision so the chances of me ever getting approved again to repair and make it a normal pouch is slim to none. I'm stuck with his creative genius . I've know since around day 4 that my sensations were not at all like everyone else, even other revision patients .

I was told my surgeon varies pouch size to match patients' variables like age, size, amount to lose, etc. If I had been given a pouch size choice, I would have screamed the words, "the smallest pouch humanly possible." Rest assured, you should still get the benefit of RNY those precious first months, lose a pile of weight, and then work at maintenance like we have to do no matter what size pouch we got to begin with. Feeling your angst and think you will find peace as the pounds come off.
