Dumping on fruit?
OMG. Dont eat anymore strawberries. If you have to have fruit. Limit it to cantalope and honeydew. Stay away fromt eh watermelon.
Acutally you said there is produce. How about fresh cucucumbers?

Dumping of fruits ? Absolutely. Some are worse than others.
Your nut does not have a clue.
Plus I dump on milk sugars, and even some starches that can turn into sugar very fast (high glupycemic index) like potatoes, cooked carrots...and a few others.
Even SA can cause like dumping symptoms... Let's not forget some "so called " protein bars that have low "net carbs" (i.e quest bars) .
Looks like you are a dumper. Good luck. Btw - the more you test the waters - the easier it would be to tolerate more sugar in the future...so don't do that. Don't make your body less sensitive to carbs...

They were very sweet strawberries, nothing like I would have at home. And yes, it appears I'm a dumper. In a way I'm glad, because dumping was awful and that's a huge incentive to not eat carbs. And thanks for the heads up about building tolerance to carbs. That's good to know.

You can dump on whole fruit but it's uncommon. The structure of the fruit - mostly fiber - tends to moderate the availability of the sugars. I happen to eat lots of fruit and it never bothers me so I guess we're just at opposite ends of the spectrum. You may find that your tolerance increases over time.
Dumping on fruit? Happens to me EVERY SINGLE time.
You will have to be your own detective and find what your tolerance levels are and where you can draw the line. I cannot eat any fruit or sugar or sugar substitute without being miserable. It makes it really easy to follow a meat diet!
I think the words "a lot" are more key than the word "strawberries." Early post-op, a handful of grapes laid me flat out in bed. Lately, I've been picking Juneberries with a lot of berries ending up in the my mouth instead of the berry pail. I thought to myself, "if berries contain as many antioxidants as reported, I should be antioxidanted for life." Prince Edward Island !! Lucky You
Fruit definitely makes me feel "dumpy". I had not eaten enough to get full on "kill me now" dumping, but I think if I'd more than I had, I would have. ( I had 1/4 cup of pears the last time I got sick from eating fruit. Haven't even attempted it since. )
My tolerance for fruit went DOWN because before I was a year out, I'd had a little bit of fruit here and there with no problems.
My tolerance for lots of things have decreased-it makes my menu planning much easier...ha.
