Good morning,

Sounds like you had a nice "me" day Kristin.

OMG, I take one day off from work and I come back to a weeks worth on my desk and everyone asking "can you?", "I need?"  "Do you know"?, "Where is?".  Ugh!  Sometimes it's not worth taking a day off.

That said, it was a successful day off, my dd passed her learners permit test, had her annual physical and went off to Peru, NY to spend the week with her bestie who moved there last year.  I actually cooked dinner on a weeknight (hubby usually does most weeknight cooking as he used to be home before me), I made teriyaki turkey tenderloins and cauliflower fried rice.   Hubby was pleased to come home to dinner ready after his first day on the new job.

QOTD:  I can't remember the last thing I got free except for unwanted advice LOL!

Time since surgery:  Almost 15 months

B:  1 egg, 1/2 fiber one english muffin

L:  turkey tenderloin and cauliflower fried rice

D:  Ricotta bake

S:  Dannon L&F Greek Whip Vanilla Cupcake

"Teriyaki Turkey Tenderloin"... say that three times fast!

I make mashed cauliflower like a pro... I've perfected the consistency to get it like real mashed potatoes, and everyone loves it... I've never tried cauliflower fried rice... do you cook the cauliflower first? I need to try this!

Good morning everyone. If I got tired of eggs, cheese and chicken, I would likely starve!  I just bought some turkey kielbasa because Daisy enjoys it so much, and it is very tasty!  I haven't put it on the grill yet, but I will.  Also, "swimming in lake me" is now my official motto.  I love it!

QOTD:  I usually don't win a lot of things, but I hit big recently.  I sit on the Board of Directors of the Free Clinic of SW Washington, and at our annual fundraiser we always raffle off a piece of jewelry.  It is specially designed for the event by a local jeweler.  Well, this year I won it!  I felt a little weird for about 2 seconds since I'm on the Board, but I bought the tickets like anyone else.  So there!  There is a picture of it below.

The other picture is my last Stitch Fit outfit from my first box.  The dress is from Stitch Fix and the shrug was from my closet.

Hello everyone!  I think I get most tired of breakfast foods (eggs, ham, turkey sausage...).  But the rest of the day seems easy enough. QOTD - I must be very unlucky because I've never won anything ;-), but my husband always wins!

I missed my morning snack today because of a late breakfast.  I had a dentist appointment (I hate going to the dentist!).  Anyway, another positive thing for me was that I went for a walk last night and was out for a whole hour!  I think I did about 3.5 miles.  It felt great. I'm going to try and get another walk in tonight.

B- Premier protein drink, 1 turkey bite, 1 string cheese

S - none (dentist)

L - 2 hard boiled eggs

S- 1/2 cup cottage cheese

D - skinless chicken thighs (leftovers from yesterday's dinner)

S - Greek yogurt

Total : 930 calories  Protein : 104 g  Carbs : 5 g  Fat : 36 g

Hi Menu Peeps! AV your day off sounds awesome!! I think days like that are a must every few months like you said.  I also got sick of chicken and took it off my menu for a bit.  I eat mostly salmon, tuna turkey kielbasa, eggs, cheese, shrimp & steak as of late.  I think I am going to get some of that sloppy joe mixture, it sounds yummy!  Hubby and I went to Ikea a few weeks ago and we had lunch and I had their meatballs with gravy, OMG yummy! I have got to get some meatballs on my menu. Also meatloaf, I love a good meatloaf. Oh and I want to make some World According to Eggface Egg bites for breakfasts and or late evening snacks.

So I took a sick day from work today, I am not feeling good. The iron infusion has kicked my butt. I feel like I have the flu, same thing happened last time, it really sucks. And my left arm where I had the bad IV go in is still swollen and its quite bruised and it hurts a lot and it hurts to try and grip my hand so I said the heck with it and took a sick day. Its frustrating, I am doing this to feel better but in the mean time I feel worse! blah!!

QOTD: honestly I can't remember, I don't ever get anything for free ever, I am quite possibly the most unlucky person ever, I just don't win stuff! LOL LOL

Time since surgery: 2 yrs + 8 months

B: skipped, not hungry, had a coffee with miralax

L: half a can of tuna with balsamic which I didn't finish

S: ????? brie cheese maybe

D: 2 scrambled eggs and 2 oz of turkey kielbasa bbq'd

S: dunno, more turkey kielbasa maybe??

no totals since I am not sure what I will actually eat

E: nada

Four sleeps to Boston!! JB & I need to feel better for the epic weekend coming of fun, laughter and all things Boston!!
