Good morning! I am sort of awake. My oldest son came to visit over night last night. It is funny how much he and my younger son look alike. They didn't look that much alike until the younger one started to transition. Now they look like twins. This is a good thing as they are both handsome devils. LOL It was fun to visit and play cards and such but that put me getting to bed well after 1AM and I am beat.
Did I mention I am still waiting for the blood doc to schedule my iron infusion? I think that is part of the problem. Today I just want to curl up and nap under my desk. No one will notice right?
QOTD: I can't think of anything I have won in a long time. I win at life! LOL Apparently I need to win several pairs of shoes! I am behind.

Good morning! Good to hear that it's just string cheese you're tired of, AV - cheese is the food of the gods!
QOTD: I was about to say that I rarely win free things, but just last week my vet gave me a big bag of special food that will help clean the tartar off my dogs' teeth. No pressure to continue buying it if the dogs don't like it, and it isn't expensive if they do like it. I didn't exactly win it, but I thought it was very generous of the vet.
B: chicken
L: eggs
D: ham
S: chicken nibblers, fresh blueberries, small apple
To keep from getting too bored with my food, I will cook up a batch of (e.g.) plain chicken, and then prepare each meal with different spices as the mood of the moment dictates: sometimes curried chicken, sometimes garlic and ginger chicken, sometimes just plain roast chicken, which is my favorite. That's why my menu plans look so simple - I know what the protein will be, but the details come later.
That being said, it's hard to work up enthusiasm for preparing any kind of food in hot weather.
Have a good Tuesday!
Tired of cheese?!?! And I thought you were my soul sister!! One can NEVER tire of cheese :-) enjoy your different eats LOL. Nerd I am, if my appointment was cancelled i wouldn't even think of making it a me day-- i'd likely go to work (to save the PTO) or do house stuff. Good for you for doing you!
QOTD- Free- ha-- I can't begin to think the last thing I got something free. My hubby tests products for DIY network and get random free sample of products, and gifts cards as thank yous for trying them.

Nah, girl we are still soul sisters! LOL It's just that I'm so. damn. tired. of eating string cheese. It's a good low cal protein choice, but I am hating it lately. LOL I should splurge and get me some artisan cheeses. Bries and gorgonzolas and the elusive nokkelost of my childhood. LOL
