What's On Your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
Morning AV and welcome back after a nice day off. I have my 1 year appointment coming up in just under a month and I'm really dreading it. I wanted to be closer to my goal, but I've exceeded my doctors goal for me by a few pounds, so it's not horrible. I just really really want to be an overachiever. I am hoping to drop 5 pounds and get to 160 by them. My weight was 165.4 this morning, so no change since yesterday. but I had a good poop AFTER I weighed, so I think if I can push the fluids and stay on track with my menu today I should be able to lose some more this next month.
KQOTD: The day I quit my job I won prize at work. That is not a metaphor for leaving that soul sucking blackhole, but I did win a fancy water bottle and a grill set that I gave to my hubby. I will miss the random prizes that the company gave out for the healthy challenges they did throughout the year. One thing about that company, their HR department loves to keep people active and encourage healthy lifestyles and has no problem giving out prizes as incentives.
11.5 months since surgery
B: 2 eggs, 1oz low fat cheese and coffee with cream and sf coffeemate
L: greek salad with chicken and Skinny Girl dressing
D: grilled chicken and steamed cauliflower.
S: light cheese stick with 2oz of turkey deli meat and 3 cups air popped popcorn lightly salted.

I'm trying something new with my afternoon snack with the meat and cheese. I am finding having a yogurt mid afternoon just isn't cutting it. I logged the popcorn because I'm being realistic, lol. Better to work the cheats into my menu than add them ON TOP of a planned menu.

o took another day off and am going to go to the gym and then putter all day and run errands, just delivered a DD coffee to DW at work and now sitting At the garage getting the oil changes in her car. Next up is the gym and then home to take care of my list!
QOTD- I also got a free premier protein bar, my biggest win was six months free internet that I used at the campground where my camper is, was great to have , but have since set rules to keep my son moving rather than playing online!

exerciae - 90 minutes at gym and tonight we are going to the fair so will get a ton of steps today!
187 this morning, I am maintaining between 184-188!

Good Morning! Glad that you got a day to yourself, sounds like you had a great day. My appt is in a few weeks, I am hoping that keeps me motivated to stay away from trail mix and such.

L: Bananas and cream protein shake with powdered PB2 with chocolate
S: SF latte, Boston cream pie L&F Greek yogurt, pork rinds and jerky
D: Albacore tuna, ½ boiled egg, shredded cheddar cheese, edamame on top of lettuce with avocado cilantro dressing, some baby carrots and SF jello
E: 6 miles this morning and elliptical at lunch
V/W: On track

Hi menu peeps,
I'm enjoying my vacation in PEI. It's beautiful here and I could see moving here and spending the rest of my life here. And Qotd: this trip is being paid for by my mom. She takes me on lots of free trips. She asked me a couple years ago whether I wanted $50,000 from her estate or to continue to travel for the next few years. Duh, spend time with my mom and travel. My mom, sisters and I are having a great time and laughing hilariously a lot.
I haven't been planning my food because we are just stopping for food whenever and wherever. But there's tons of good protein so I've been making good choices.
