Hey gang. Well, good news/bad news. Good news--I think I finally figured out what's wrong with me! I've been unnaturally exhausted lately. And hot--which is SO unlike me. The bad news is that I woke up about an hour after I fell asleep with the worst sore throat and it's now a full blown cold. I have a slight fever, too. I'm happy to at least know what's going on, but I don't have time to be sick right now! I'm giving a big 2 day training (I'm the only presenter from 9 - 5 today and tomorrow) and we don't have a Plan B if I'm too sick to do it. Also, Daisy is coming on Saturday morning, so I need my full energy to match her dynamite! Please please please send me your healing vibes.
QOTD: I "won" a $20 Starbucks gift card at work last week for answering a survey. Yay!
5am: Fit Frappe Spiced Chai Latte
9am: Not gonna lie--some kind of pastry at the training...I'm craving a muffin!
12pm: Catered lunch. Probably the insides of a deli sandwich.
6pm: Can I just plan to skip it and go straight to bed?

"I am basically food's creepy ex-girlfriend. I know we can't be together anymore but I just want to spend time hanging out" ~me, about why I love cooking so much post WLS
I think we're all sick of our food because I am too. Some of mine is this stinking heat wave we have going on here in Illinois. When it feels like 110 I dont feel like cooking or eating so my menus often change before I get to dinner. Last night I was going to grill burgers but hubby wasn't feeling well and just wanted soup. So instead I pan-fried a Mediterranean style salmon burger that I had in the freezer. It was yummy so I'm glad I made that change! Lily and I already have our 3.2 miles done at the park and I will do another 1.25 at least this evening when it cools down a bit. QOTD I have never ever won anything in my whole life so yes I have no luck! Post op 46.75 months and weight at 118.6 today. Here's the food if I don't change my mind B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 31/2 oz deli turkey and cheese roll up 1/2 c tomatoes D 31/2 oz grilled burger 1/2 c green beans S mission one cookies and cream protein bar. Have a great day everyone and make some smart choices!
