Hello RNY'ers Bruised or Numb is the question?
Hi I'm a week post op and I woke up from RNY with back of head hurting and little burn feeling well it hadn't gone away feels so strange. I thought maybe it's due to being under anesthesia for almost 6 hours but today Dr Nirse called to check on me and I asked I'm kind of concerned was told that they don't know maybe it's a bruise and or anesthesia for longer period of time but that the anesthesiologist doesn't understand why I'm feeling this.
has anyone had anything remotely close to this ?

I would see a chiropractor for some adjustment to your neck.that might solve the problem if you got out of alignment during surgery. If a nerve got pinched,it can cause burning pain. I would go to my Chiro,ASAP
