What is on your Monday Menu RNYers?
OMG! ME TOO! Well, I haven't actually weighed the clothes on a scale, but I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow and I did hold up two different dresses in my hand and picked the one that felt lighter. AND I fully intend to take my shoes off...

I absolutely take my shoes off. There's no way I'm stepping on their scale with shoes. One appt, I forgot and wore boots, you better believe I sat my butt down to take those suckers off, slowing the process down for everyone. I absolutely HATE my surgeon's scales. They are consistently 5 lbs higher than my scale at home. When I complained to him, he told me that I should go by my scale, that his scales are difficult to keep calibrated because he weighs such a wide range of people at various weights. It's still a mind game though and I hate seeing the higher number. Also, because of work, I usually try to make the first appt of the day. However, he does surgery and consultations with pre ops in the mornings, so only has office for post ops in the afternoons. Boo.
YAY for plastics! so happy for you. and glad you have such a great support system with family and extended family.
QOTD: eating salad dressing by touching your fork to it, then then greens- you eat less dressing that way, drink liquids when you think you need to eat, counting out portions, like when you open a bag of something- I go ahead and put each 1 oz or whatever into its own bag.then im not at tempted to eat more than one serving.
Here is that I ate yesterday:
B:3 egg whites/1 turkey sausage link/spinach/1slice turkey bacon/1/4 cup milk
L: mahi burger patty/FFblack bean dip
D: 3 oz chicken/curry saucy/zuchinni/onion
S: kays cookie bites/carbmaster milk/1/3 serving kays chili chip/carbmaster yogurt

Morning everyone! We had a great weekend, with the wedding on Saturday, and then dinner afterwards with friends at a place on the lake here (I love water, and I belong living right next to it!).. yesterday I ran some errands and then got a wild hair and cleaned out my closet and drawers. I have a white trash bag FILLED to the gills with shoes... I have 51 pair left - in my defense those include flip flops and a pair of snow boots. I didn't count the riding boots in the garage. So how many pair of shoes do you have? I thought that 51 pair was a nice comfortable number (with a little room to grow)... hubby thinks it's crazy that I still have that many left after donating an entire white trash bag full. The reason I got so determined to clean them out is because I went and bought a new pair of taupe shoes to wear with my dress (which I ended up not wearing that dress, so the shoes weren't an issue - ha!), and then I was peaking around in my closet seeing what shoes I had to wear with the dress I DID wear... and anyway, I found a brand new pair of taupe pumps tucked away on a shelf still in the box! I realized that I had shoes I hadn't worn in forever, and needed to see what I have. I realized that the bigger I got, the less clothes I bought, but the more shoes I bought! I still love shoes, and I'm taking that second pair of taupe pumps back today and getting a pair of strappy brown heels to replace them! I don't have a pair I love left, and now I need them! Ack!
QOTD: My biggest success on dieting was doing Atkins. I read his original book and really learned to understand the way of low carb. I was more than thrilled when my NUT started explaining my WLS diet, that I could incorporate so much of what I already knew. If you haven't ever read the original '70's Atkins book, you should. While I figure most of you here understand the science behind the low carb way of life, if you don't, that book really explains it well. -- Oh, and I only weigh after I've gone potty... I will not drink an ounce of water until after I weigh, and my hair has to be dry, and I'm nekkid as a jailbird!
B: Premier Protein shake
L: can of smoked oysters and a handful of pork rinds (don't judge)
S: 12 cashews
D: No telling, but I bet the leftover shrimp I made last night won't be there today - the curse of a work-from-home hubby! I'll probably have to resort to some lunchmeat and cheese

I didn't count the ones I am donating, but I bet I was over 100 too... although, in my defense, some of those were given to me, and at the time it seemed like a great idea to take them, but in all honesty I don't think I ever wore any of them - like 10 pair!
I have 2 bottles of perfume... I should look into transferring some of the shopping into perfumes! hahaha!
