What is on your Monday Menu RNYers?
Good morning! I'm so jelly of your plastics! If I could I would do my panny and my thighs. My boobs and arms have been ok. My hubbie is totally against me getting them so I'm pretty sure I'm screwed. Oh well. This weekend was a bust for me. I ran on Friday night and it was glorious! No hip pain, I was at my old pace and it just felt good. Then I got a migraine... no workout Saturday or Sunday. We had obligations on Sat and Sun so I couldn't shut down and hide in a dark room so I think it was extended past what it normally would have been (boo!).
I am detoxing off sugar this week. I think it is contributing to my headaches and plus I've been eating WAY TOO much. I may train a lot but that is no excuse for the amount I have been inhaling lately. I just need to stop! So that is my goal for today. No sugar. By that I mean no candy, chocolate or other sweets. I am not counting the sugar in dairy or vegetables. I also need to focus on getting more protein in. I've been very lax about that lately and I think it is contributing to not recovering after workouts.
(My motto for this week!)
Time since surgery: 2+ years
B: Coffee with cream and JD breakfast sammy
S: Almonds and jerky
L: Rotisserie Chicken
S: Iced Coffee and cheese curds
D: Tuna on white bread
W/V: Started
E: 7 mile run
Love your motto!
Get that protein in!!
My personal goal this week is to float in my pool at least one hour per day...since after next Monday there will be no pool time happening for me...

Morning Cynthia. Congrats on the next round of plastics. I'm sure everything will go smoothly. Say hey to Lauren for me.
I don't really recall old diet tricks or tips. What I always did was just eat less. A lot less. But, I did some of the silly little things before going for a weigh-in, like not eating, and wearing my lightest shoes. Don't laugh -- my heavy everyday shoes weigh 3 pounds more than my lightest. I could tie those shoes around a toddler's ankles and they wouldn't run away from you.

I have been known to weigh my clothes to make sure I was wearing the lightest thing... actually tomorrow I have already planned to wear the lightest thing I have in my closet....
