Coffee
On my plan, yes; but limited to two glasses a day. There are SO many different plans out there, so you'll need to consult your nutritionist/dietician if you're unsure. It should be on a list of approved ( or not approved ) foods provided by your nut/dietician.

I drink fully caffeinated coffee. Usually I use half and half, heavy whipping cream, or fairlife milk - but I follow a ketogenic diet, typically. I use less than a tablespoon. Generally, that's what I have for breakfast (I do intermittent fasting). The surgeon said he had no problem with it, thank goodness! The weeks post-op without it were miserable.
I make my own cold brew using one of these. It's amazing! You can just use a jar or large container and strain it, too. It's much less acidic than typical brewed coffee, too. I dilute it by half because I let it steep extra long.
I follow a ketogenic diet post-op. I also have a diagnosis of binge eating disorder. Feel free to ask me about either!

These brewers work really well. We use a similar one: https://www.amazon.com/Takeya-Coffee-Maker-1-Quart-Black/dp/ B00FFLY64U/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1468722118&sr=8-2&keywords =Takeya

I may have to get a new toy. To test them side by side. For science?
