Good morning, sorry for the late post. I have had an exhausting week at work and I actually slept in this morning! A miracle, right?
Today Grim and I are going on another weekend adventure :) Brimfield, MA is about an hour from my house and has a huge flea market/antique fair every year. It's huge--miles and miles in an open field with zillions of vendors. It's going to be a super hot day, so I'm not sure how long we'll last but it's always an adventure to go. Afterwards we found a drive in movie theater nearby that is playing Ghostbusters! Should be fun.
QOTD: Do you like antiquing? Have you ever found something awesome or valuable?
Adventures are hard for meal planning, which is a shame because I have been doing really well going back to my really structured and timed 6 small meals. It evened out my hunger within 2 days! All I'm sure about is breakfast, which is decaf and bacon. And I'm guessing some movie popcorn, too. The rest is up in the air, but I'll bring my usual array of protein bars, Mr. Cheese Os, nuts and cheese sticks, just in case!
Have a great day!
Sounds like a fun day,JB! We go antiquing quite a bit but I rarely buy. I love old china but have no space to store it. Stupid spell check capitalized china! I'll be working cleaning up the camper today from the last trip, doing housework, and putting away food at the pantry. We ended up staying home from the shoot because hubby has an ear infection and is having spells of really bad dizziness. Probably not a good thing to shoot guns when dizzy! So I'll be busy taking care of him too. Lily and I got up early and have our 3.2 miles in already. I'll walk another 1.25 after supper too. Post op 46.5 months and weight at 118.2 today. Here's the food plan B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 31/2 oz deli turkey and cheese 1/2 c tomato D 31/2 oz grilled chicken strips 1/2 c green beans S mission one chocolate brownie protein bar. Have a great day everyone and make some wise choices!
I am always impressed by your early morning walks! Hope hubby feels better and yes, guns and dizziness don't sound like a good combo...

Morning JB! Your weekends sound far more exciting than mine! QOTD: antiquing... Nope don't do it. I don't even like flea markets. To me they are next years yard sale items-- no one wants this stuff long term-- it all just fills a fleeting desire that I just don't have.
im currently at a parent onboarding session for my sons school- lasts till 12noon. This school isn't new to us- so I dread the repetitive questions people will inevitably ask.
Ive been on my run- 4 miles! Meals are questionable today..

Morning JB. Your weekend sounds fun. Today my family and I are going to a local ComicCon. It's the first year for this one and it's being organized by a former co-worker and friend. He's pretty awesome and so we're going to support him. It's in the gym at the middle school in his hometown, so it's not huge. This afternoon my cousin and her family are coming to hang out and BBQ with us. Should be pretty laid back.
JBQOTD: I love antiquing, and unfortunately i've never found anything that turned out to be worth a lot. I'd love to go again soon, but I'm kinda trying to cut back on my spending for a bit.
Plan for the day is incomplete, since I don't know what lunch will be since we'll be out. But here is what I have planned:
B: 2 eggs and 1/2 oz of goat gouda, coffee with cream and sf coffeemate
L:??????
D: grilled chicken and baked beans
no totals, but I'm being really good and will update with my totals tomorrow. Today I'm being accountable by sending Melissa a picture of every food I put into my mouth. No hiding anything. So far I sent her a pic of my coffee and my eggs. I love having someone who understands!
What fun! I'm not a fan of our local flea markets because they tend to be more junk from China than real antiques but I would love to go to a nice one. DH and I go whenever we can to antique and junk stores. He loves old signs and advertising. Our most recent purchase was a stained glass window for our house. I've posted a pic before, I will have to post another one once we have it installed. Have a few more weeks to pay on it.
Currently getting my "hair did", then going him and scooping up the kids to go swimming at my moms for a while. Tonight we will either go to the movies or out to eat.
B- Irish tea with SF creamer
L- leftover ribs
D-? Unsure
S- protein shake
you all have a wonderful Saturday!
