Your best instant food

I need some help. I haven't been feeling all that perky lately. Not having the ability/energy to cook can lead to insta carb grabs.

What are some of your easiest proteins to pull together?

Get some Quest bars and chips. :) (Or whatever brand jus****ch the sugar and carb content.) But I'm a newbie, so if someone says something different that has been here forever I'd listen to them. Lol.

I was just rewatching House of Cards. It makes me smile to see where you are from.

For me the protein chips are just a weird texture in my mouth. Never could manage those.

Haha :) I've never seen that show, but I have heard good things. Yeah, at first the chips are great but once you chew chew chew they are kinda weird, but oh well it's the closest thing to chips I can have! Haha

Cheese, hard boiled eggs, rotisserie chicken, Greek yogurt.  I love bacon that comes already cooked and I eat it like candy.  It's been a while since I've had a protein shake but I used to keep some ready made handy in case I needed something quick.  I also love the Light n Fit smoothies.

Having those kind of things handy does make a difference between grabbing a carby thing or grabbing something with protein.

I'm done with protein shakes for this lifetime!

I forgot that sometimes I buy some Atkins snacks for those times where nothing but something sweet will do.

My sweet right now is 1/4 cup frozen blueberries in my greek yogurt.

My all-time favorite, fast, easy, no mess, economical, high-protein, dense meal choice is:  a packet of albacore tuna paired with a microwavable box of cauliflower in cheese sauce.

Warm,cheesy,comforting and quick. Yes that's a winner.
