What's on Your (photo) Friday Menu, RNYers?
Good morning! I have no idea what people mean when they say they cannot sleep. I can sleep almost anywhere. Years of working night shift, I guess, dunno. Have a ton of work to get done today, vet issues to follow up on, employee discipline to issue, a recruiting package....ahhh, I love my job, I love my job.
The weekend should be semi-relaxing. DH is working OT tonight, tomorrow I have a hair appointment. Thank Jesus for color, that's all I have to say. Sunday my Haitian has basketball games after church.
Pic is from this morning in a true "teenage-esque" selfie bathroom shot. I love my new shirt, that's why. Plus, photo Friday. I was prepared.
B- turkey and cheese roll up, irish tea w/SF creamer
L- ^^^same. a couple of homemade pickles (thanks for the recipe Glitter Kitty! & Deanna!)
D- don't know, I think we are going out, will be protein
Have a great day ya'll!

THIS IS NOT MY WEDDING DRESS.
But I thought you guys would like seeing it anyway. As I think I told you, I'm wearing purple, but I promised my sister and my BFF that I would try at least one traditional bridal gown - so here you go. Don't I look happy LOL? Though the necklace IS the necklace that I'll be wearing on my wedding day. My grandmother wore it for her wedding day, it was a present from my grandfather. He brought it back from Rome when he came home from WWII. He got home and six days later they married - wow!
I'm soooo sorry you haven't been sleeping. Not sleeping wreaks havoc with every part of your life :-(
QOTD: I'm in the newspaper a lot for work. I even made the SOCIETY pages here on the Main Line this year, which was a big deal...I mean for some sets that is.

You guys! I forgot how often I have to go to the bathroom when I actually drink as much as I should - it's soooooo annoying, though the steps sure add up!

Right?! My grandmother had been planning and getting everything ready, just waiting for word that he had returned. She had dresses and everything. They got married on a Tuesday night, because that's when the church was available - so many GIs were coming home and getting married right away they took what they could get!
Here's a close up of the necklace, it was beautiful in person! Teal green stones and filigree. Oddly enough my mom and her sister's didn't wear it in their weddings - but now my sister and I both will.
