What's on Your (photo) Friday Menu, RNYers?
Hi friends:
I'm sorry about your sleep troubles, AV. That sucks. Hope it gets fixed soon :)
It's a hot one again in Boston, in the mid 70s at 7:00AM. But I'm in my extremely air conditioned office so there's that. I'm going to Colorado for a week on Tuesday and it looks like the weather is hot there too. I'm a little nervous because this is my first time travelling after surgery. But I'm going with my family and I'm going to visit family. Everyone knows I've had surgery so I know they'll be supportive.
QOTD: I've been in the paper a few times for theater related stuff when I was in high school. I was on a college TV channel for a game show when I was at university. However, total fame continues to elude me :0
B: Oikos triple Greek yogurt, lots of coffee
L: Beef teriyaki (we're ordering out)
D: No idea; maybe more meatloaf?
Have a great day!

Enjoy your trip, great to have your family on board with your surgery and you should be able to stay on track with your protein as they seem very supportive of you! That's awesome.

QOTD: I was in the newspaper several times in high school for band and other club stuff, nothing exciting. Back when OH had a printed magazine, I was on the cover. This was from October 2010 when I was 2 years out. I am happy to report my weight, measurements, and size have remained the same since then. I had my arms done before this picture was taken, but had not had my lbl/bl yet. Shapewear was my bff back then.
I have to have my annual bloodwork done next week, too. My annual appointment with my surgeon is the beginning of August. Hard to believe it has almost been 8 years for me.
Trying to cut back on snacking. I get bored in the summer. I am limiting my calories to 1500 and getting in 17,000 steps today.

I did not go for a few years when my surgeon was no longer on my insurance, but my insurance changed again and he is on it so now I go back. I get my labs done by my surgeon, then go see him and my PCP in the same week. I am going to be 50 in a few weeks. I need to stay on top of things so my body does not fall completely apart
