Ah, teenage girls, so much fun!   Just know that this too shall pass.  My oldest and I fought like cats and dogs for years.  Basically, she thinks shes the boss of the world and pretty much always has, she was quite a challenge as a teenager.  We get along much better now that she is 25 and has her own home.  My younger daughter will be 16 on Sunday, she's pretty mild compared to her sister, we don't argue as much, but we definitely have different ideas about many things.  She has very strong opinions and can be very stubborn, but she's not a rule breaker and doesn't challenge me like her sister did.

Hang in there mom! My now 21 year old daughter is sane and normal again after losing her mind on her 16 birthday. My dad said "Chelsea blew out her 16th birthday candles, went into the bathroom and crapped her brains out" it's tough !!!!! I'm making light of it now but she sent me into a severe depression that was life altering for us both.  Just want you to know your not alone !

hey yall

I'm going through some general unhappiness and anxiety. I don't know why I feel blue but I do, I'm letting stupid dumb stuff bother me and I don't know why. My DH said i was being extremely *****y lately. I don't know if there is a true cause - I've just been a cranky monster. I need to figure out something to lift my fog.

On the up side, the amazon prime day bargains started coming yesterday- lol. They had HEAD fleece like vests and jackets for like $3 each plus jammies for a couple bucks which I needed actually. Bought xs and small in the winter clothes. They are a little snug but they will be great by fall. Told my mom and she said- oh- you don't need to be an xs.... so those comments aren't really sitting well. i will just ignore.

QOTD: yes been in the paper in college a few times for opera's I sang in. I also won a seat belt safety competition in the 3rd grade (that my sister actually drew almost the entire thing). I was in the paper for that.

Here is what I ate yesterday. Finding that posting actuals is a little better for me:

B: decaf/1/4 cup premier prot/1/4 cup carbmaster milk

L:light tuna/light mayo/pickle/1/2 serving pork rinds

D: chicken/butter chicken sauce/sauteed spinach

S: 3 oz chicken/ 1/2 serving pork rinds/1/2 quest/carbmaster yogure

Don't know how you feeling about medicating, but I take a low dose of anti-anxiety meds and they make a HUGE difference for me. You might consider talking to your PCP about how you're feeling if this has been going on for a while...

It seems to have started just recently. i think there is something there with me not exercising as frequently as I was. it was releasing the stress and anxiety through the running and yoga. and I haven't been doing as much lately.

its a great point though- thanks

I know exercise daily keeps my moods more level myself so that's probably part of it. Hope you get it sorted out soon and feel better!

Sorry you are feeling down.  Time to pamper yourself a bit, get a message or a mani-pedi.  Don't let other people's comments get to you.
