Hi there, glad you posted!  Glad to hear you are working hard, you can do this.  Great looking menu, but I just want to suggest dropping your calories down a bit to 800-900 to truly loose weight.  1200 is maintenance calories.  Just a thought and something you can work towards.

I hope you will stick around and join in the fun and community support!

Thanks for the feedback.  I wasn't sure how many calories to start with going back to the bariatric guidelines.  900 calories is scary ;-) ! I'm afraid of my metabolism slowing down to conserve.  Is that a myth or are we ok at 800-900 calories?  I know for the first while that I was eating that amount of calories or less.  I lost, but very slowly.  It took me a year to lose 60lbs.  I'll play it by ear I guess and see how the losing goes.  I weigh myself on Monday morning.  But if 1200 calories is maintenance, I may have to work at getting down to 900.

I love the question of the day today. I will say it was last night. My daughter and I went shopping and went to dinner. Her and I have been coming closer together since my drinking has stopped.

At dinner last night we were talking about men/boys and we were cracking up. She can be so me sometimes. A little boy crazy. It was very innocent what we were talking about.

We went for coffee on the way home and were laughing so hard in the store. Over something so silly. It felt so good. When I spoke to my husband later that night I told him about it. I actually cried happy tears. I haven't really been able to cry since I was  stopped drinking. I think my anti-depressant medicine is not getting washed out of me with booze. It works now.

I know this post is very self absorbed. But I really had a good time last night. It felt so good.

B:Coffee/ Yogurt Siggis it is so good

L:Salami and cheese

D:Black bean and corn salsa and steak I love summer

Have a good day. I will read everyone's posts in a bit.
