10+ years post op, living & loving life!
Hi AV and gang!
Long time no see! I am around, and I read the post when I can, but life has gotten significantly busier. Thank god I have so much energy now - I could never do what I do at 300+ lbs! Work has ramped up, I have had some travel (Mexico and NYC) and now I am getting ready to move so I am just all over the place. Luckily, I spend a lot of time with my boyfriend (we both work from home) and he is a very sensible eater who eats protein bars, drinks protein shakes, and prefers protein to carbs (who is this alien???) so I have lost a few lbs being with him, despite the fact that we eat out on dates and he has a sweet tooth. We go to the gym together most days, which helps as well. So hello everyone, and I love reading what you're up to!
QOTD: I laugh pretty constantly. My boyfriend's kids crack me up. 6 and 10 year olds are funny as hell!
Time Since Surgery: 2 years, 7 months
B: Pro Bar Coffee Crunch, COFFEE
L: Chef salad with baby lettuce, cucumbers, green peppers, honey roasted turkey, pepper jack cheese, cheddar cheese, sriracha ranch dressing
S: Maybe popcorn?
D: He requested "make your own pizza" so we have cheese and sauce and turkey pepperoni and a thin crust. Half of the pizza each would be 3 pieces each, which I wouldn't eat (or be able to eat). It's crazy to think that before surgery I would have eaten the whole pizza, plus possibly a side dish. Ugh, I hate thinking about the volume of food I could put away!!!
E: Gym. Elliptical and legs today.
Have a wonderful day today and stay cool, all! AV, I don't know how you live without A/C, though it's the flip phone that really confounds me - my iPhone is pretty much attached to my body ;)
Hi Em! Happy to see you! You and Anny on the same day -- it's like the Beatles getting back together.
