What's On Your Thursday Menu, RNYers?
Good morning all! We finally got some much needed rain last night, but now it's super humid and everything is sticky and gross. I had to put my makeup on in the car with the air conditioner running. LOL And my poor dog doesn't know what to do with himself. He just keeps moving from one cool spot on the hardwood to another. Maybe we should break down and buy an air conditioner for the house.
QOTD! When was the last time you laughed really hard? I don't know if you can tell, but I laugh all the time. HA! But last night my aunt posted an I Love Lucy clip on Facebook that really had me rolling. Lucy is never not funny to me, and this was the candy factory scene, with Lucy and Ethel wrapping chocolates. I actually did have tears in my eyes I was laughing so hard.

Some how it is not a shock to me that you laugh a lot, AV! I'm a laugher as well. My old housemate used to make fun of me for how much random TV made me laugh out loud. It's just in my nature. This weekend my nieces had me in stitches - the 5 and 2.5 year old are both all about telling jokes right now and the little one, omg, she is ridiculous because she cracks herself up.
How do you make a tissue dance?

Good morning! I am so busy that I want to curl up in a ball and retreat. My to-do list is just beyond what anyone can accomplish in the deadline that I have. I'm still waiting on feedback for a huge project that I'm responsible for, and the edits have to be completed so that it's done and at the printer by 7am tomorrow. Also I have three hour-long unrelated meetings to go to today and 243 unread emails in my inbox. Aaaahh! So yeah, I'm not going to be reading these posts today!
((just under 1 year post op and staying strong on maintenance. 115 today.))
5am: Decaf with skim ; 1/8 c salted almonds and a babybel cheese
8am: Oikos Triple Zero with 1/3 scoop of Mint Chocolate Syntrax Protein Powder
11am: Arugula Lettuce with 1/2 c Wegmans Chicken Salad and 1Tbsp Balsamic Vinegrette
2pm: 6 2" Salami Rounds and 3 Cheese Cubes
5pm: Coconut breaded chicken tenders
QOTD: I rarely laugh out loud at TV or movies--I usually just give an amused chuckle. But having fun with people always makes me laugh. Also I have this weird eye problem that causes me to tear up easily (I forget what it's called) so if I find anything funny, especially if I'm also tired, I literally laugh until I cry... I've learned to invest in waterproof mascara :)

I managed to pile up another 200ish today and I'm giving a training all day tomorrow, so I should be able to match that by the weekend...
Last week all of the schools were on break and it was so quiet that I actually sent myself a test email one afternoon because I assumed it must be broken. Ha.

I have been working on my email on and off all day, and am ending the day with 534 unread emails. It will be over 600 again tomorrow morning, but I hope to get it down to 400 by the end of the day tomorrow. My goals are sad.

Damn on the massive to do list and 243 emails! You need to hire yourself an assistant!!
Great looking menu JB! Are you coconut chicken tenders homemade or store bought? I LOVE anything coconut, ANYTHING and that sounds delish!!
And I almost fell off my chair at your "weird eye problem that causes me to tear up easily, "especially if you laugh really hard" THAT IS SO ME! I just thought that was what everyone did when they laughed super hard. I ALWAYS tear up when I laugh hard... ok so we are weird, but we are weird together LOL #twinning

I've really not been cooking these days. Too busy! I like these frozen ones: http://www.bellandevans.com/frozen/coconut-breaded-chicken-b reast-tenders
I think lots of people tear up when they laugh really hard. My eyes do that for any kind of laugh. I look like a damn fool!
