It's an ALL-SCALE VICTORY!
Finally!!!! I have made it to onederland! I saw my surgeon on Monday for my post 3 month visit and weighed in at 198 on their scale with all my clothes on! I have not been below 200 lbs since I had my oldest son 11 and a half years ago. The feelings I felt in that moment and ever since have been surreal! To add to this, last week my boyfriend proposed to me..on our adult only - Disney World vacation!!!! IT was amazing and I'm still recovering from the shock of THAT! I'm like the FBI when it comes to knowing everything. I have no idea how he pulled that over on me. I'm pretty sure there wasn't ever a Christmas gift I didn't know about or a boyfriend I didn't know was up to no good, etc. So any way, I'm getting off track... I went to have my new engagement ring sized because it was way too big woot woot and I stopped by the American Eagle store "just to look". I have literally not shopped in that store or have been able to fit into ANYTHING they sell in 8 years... I came out with 5 shirts and a pair of shorts all in a size LARGE!!!! What???!! This is just blowing my mind! I can't wait to keep moving forward and I'm looking forward to feeling even more comfortable in my every day life :-)
Congrats on the engagement and it will continue to get better on the clothes front. Soon you will be dropping a size a month@@@
don't buy too much like I did- I just wanted some variety though!
Remember how great that felt to see that number! That will help you get to goal and get through tough days in maintenance too. It's fun when the scale is going down but once you get to goal it's about making good choices every day to stay there. That's why my before picture lives on my frig door as a reminder of where I came from. Congratulations!
Congratulations, all around!
