NSV ok this is weird!
It used to be that I had to run to the bathroom every 20 minutes to pee. I didn't want to drink any liquid if I was going to be in a car, because I'd have to go. So since RNY I can go hours between bathroom stops. My nut said that the first weight we lose is abdominal fat. I'm guessing I lost a lot of fat that is no longer sitting on my bladder. Ok, TMI probably.

I have had the same experience with not having to go to the bathroom all the time, including no longer getting up several times in the middle of the night. However, I feel that the last to go has been abdominal fat. That is still hanging around, along with lots of extra skin from having twins many years ago and carrying around excess weight for years.

I had type 2 diabetes prior to surgery and was constantly thirsty. I drank at least 2 gallons of liquid a day, and about 32 oz of water each night, waking up thirsty and needing to pee every two hours.
Now, I forget to drink all the time and I have had the same 16 oz bottle of water on my nightstand for a month!
