Angry Pouch
I'm almost 6 weeks post-op and had my first food issue last night. I ate what was measured (2 oz. canned salmon & 1 oz. cooked mushroom) and knew when I took my last bite that it was one too many. No warning signs before that. I didn't throw-up, but probably would have felt better if I did. I just avoid that action like the plague. Anyhow, today I still feel yucky. Not really sick, just not good. I plan to stick to liquids today, but am even struggling with that. Any suggestions from the vets.... how long does it take to pass? Thanks for any advice.

I'm 4 years out, and I still have big pouch and little pouch days. There doesn't seem to be any pattern or reason. Just be aware that it happens. Eating slowly, you should be able to recognize the signs that you are approaching full.
The other issue could have been taking too big a bite, or not chewing well enough. That will always come back to bite you . . .

I'm no veteran... but I'm 8 weeks out and have struggled with this as well.
For me, mushrooms don't work yet... I can't seem to break them down enough in my mouth to get them through my pouch. I swore them off for a bit.
I call mine a persnickety pouch. ***** has issues with so many things! LOLOLOL
