What is on your Wednesday Menu RNYers?
Wow - small world Deanna! I live in RP and drive to Vermont daily for work. ( South of St Albans). Is a beautiful area, I love it here!
Good morning Cynthia and everyone,
I'm feeling great this morning. I slept in until 7:30!!!! Yay! Given my sleep problems lately, this is huge. Now if only the stupid scale would budge.
I've got a pretty good day planned. Going for a walk here pretty soon, then mow the front lawn (did the back yesterday), then hang with a friend this afternoon, then an eye doctor appointment. I have rather suddenly become completely night blind. If things are well lit, I can see fine. But in a car, no dice. Everything's a blur. Cross your fingers for me that it's nothing serious!
Qotd: 20 questions was my favorite. I loved trying to guess and having others guess. My kids will play it in the car and I'm always tempted to solve it asap but instead let them play, lol.
Food:

Good morning all, a gorgeous day today, wish I was off today, oh well, leaving early to see the podiatrist, hoping to get rid of the darn boot today. Fingers crossed.
Cynthia you are one busy lady! Safe travels.
QOTD: Favorite childhood games included red light, green light, freeze tag, kick the can (which is really just hide and seek, but if you run and kick the can you are safe). Back in the dark ages when I was a kid, we were outside all day and only came in to have lunch or dinner and then we were right back outside, playing all kinds of ball, riding bikes, doing flips over the top of the swingset while pretending to be gymnasts.

Happy Hump Day. Day 2 of eating on a timer worked well again yesterday, so I am doing it again today. But I am in meetings alllll day with no breaks--I'm going to have to whip out food containers during meetings! So I'm not actually sure how I will accomplish this schedule...
In other news, my office has the unspoken "competition" every Wednesday when we have our Operations/Finance Meeting. There is a rotating snack schedule, we are all super competitive about bringing the best stuff. So last weekend when we were in Maine, I found a local Fudge Shoppe and bought $45/worth of Maine-themed treats, including: sal****er taffy, lobster shaped gummies and of course, FUDGE! TYVM that I haven't touched any of it, and will be waiting until 3pm for just a teeny taste of the fudge :)

I often break out food in meetings so that I can stick to my eating schedule. I have grown immune to feeling weird about it, and everyone at work is used to it, so no biggie. In fact, I have converted a few people (no surgery) to eating 6 meals a day to control their afternoon eating and other snacking behavior. We pull out our food containers together!
