What is on your Wednesday Menu RNYers?
Sprinkler running was fun as a kid for sure! Hope they love it too.

Pizza peppers are my current obsession!!!!!!
Just cut open and clean a bell pepper, roast it under the broiler, fill it with your favorite toppings and throw it back under the broiler for a minute. My favorite is my hubby's homemade marinara, pepperoni and mozzarella. Not a huge protein hit but SO delicious and satisfying. We're on a tight budget and bell peppers are usually pretty inexpensive. I make a whole pan and eat them all week. Because it's on a pepper the kids won't touch it.
So. Stinking. Good.

Thanks for starting us out Cynthia. I have had that same issue with reservations, only airlines instead of hotels. You know, making the reservation on the wrong day, or in the PM when I wanted to fly in the AM. It is always such a pain the get it fixed, and these days with airlines, very expensive.
I actually wrote a post this morning before my 7:00 am meeting, but when I went to fini**** it disappeared. Ugh! It was brilliant and witty, and you are all the worse off because you did not get to experience my awesomeness. So, I bailed and have a few minutes to post before my next meeting. This week is crazy at work. What is going on?
QOTD: I grew up on a cul-de-sac, and there were 22 kids in four houses, so we had the numbers for some great games. We had a baseball diamond and a basketball key painted on the street, so we played a lot of those games. Also, my other favorites were red rover, kick ball, and we had some epic hide and go seek games. We were always outside riding bikes, playing games and otherwise running around. I often tell people I grew up on a kibbutz since all parents on the street had equal authority over all of the kids.
I got my Stitch Fix box and it was really great. I kept 3 of the pieces and gave the other two to a friend of mine. With the whole box discount, I would have cost me the same if I sent them back or if I kept them, so I kept them. My friend loved the pieces. I am posting below pictures of two of the outfits. The dress and the skirt are both from Stitch Fix. Thanks Julia for the recommendation!
Speaking of the clothes from Stitch Fix, they triggered a NSV for me. When I tried on the clothes, a shirt and a blazer didn't fit quite right because I have boobs. So, I had my friend try them on to see if they would fit her. She is tall and thin and sort of looks like Audrey Hepburn. She is gorgeous, and I would always look at her with envy and wish I could be her size. An impossible dream. Well, when she tried on the clothes, I discovered that we are the same size (minus the boobs). She mentioned it matter of factly, like my whole world hadn't been turned upside down.

Love love love these!
I totally know how that head shift feels when you realize you are now in a body size/shape that is like someone you have always seen as beautiful and thin. I recently had a similar experience with a co-worker who is a dietitian. She was asking about how I am doing and I mentioned my current weight and that I was now a healthy BMI for the first time since...well...ever. I figured she would be happy for me since she is a dietitian and she was happy. Then she said, "Now you weigh less than me. That's exciting isn't it?" It floored me. Like...whaaaa? Yep, weird and exciting stuff.
