Almost 6 months any advice on what to expect, changes, things I should do etc
Hello All,
This has been a long journey and in about a week I will hit the 6 month mark. I have read a lot of blogs, websites and even books about what comes next but wanted to ask those who have been where I am going. If it helps so far I have lost a total of 90 pounds, my goal in 6 months was 100 pounds but I have learned not to stress out it if don't hit the mark on that exact day.
Thanks for the help.
No advice, as I'm only 8 weeks out... but a big Congratulations are in order!!! 90 pounds in 6 months is quite an accomplishment!!

I am a few weeks in front of you. I am not doing too much different. I just had my gallbladder out so sitting around on my butt mostly. LOL! Going to try getting back to a light exercise routine on Thursday. I over did it last week and thought I was heading for the ER. I am feeling better after being a complete couch potato for the last 4 days. I have a plan to do the walking instead of the running for another week sadly.
I am about right in the middle for my BMI now. I am planning to lose as much as I can for the remainder of the year because of the bounce back. I liked what I looked like about 5 lbs ago but am going to bite the bullet and lose an extra 20 lbs like White Dove suggested so when it happens I will be back here. I am also planning on doing more weight lifting in the fall. I am only doing the heavier weight 2x a week now and gradually increasing. Mostly I just run outdoors and do my stretches, sit ups, pushups ect. daily. I love cardio but need the weights, too. Just wanted to get down as low as I can this year and then build the muscle over it.
My eating is about the same. Under 30 carbs from veggies, shakes and yogurt. 500 - 700 calories and very seldom up to 800 calories a day. Some days I am ravenous and other days I can barely get 500 down. ALWAYS a minimum of 100+ oz of water, though. 60-100+ on the protein. I don't do any breads crackers or snacks. I have decided not to open that door. It is not worth it to me.
For me at 6 months my appetite came back. I had to make a more conscious effort to eat on plan. My hair stopped falling out, mine started coming out at about 3 months and tapered off at 6 months. Beef was always hard for me to eat, around the six month mark it seemed to get easier.
